For five decades, Every Woman’s Place has been a lifeline of safety, hope, and healing in Muskegon County. Join us for an unforgettable evening as we honor survivors and celebrate the impact of services that reach more than 1,000 individuals each year. From crisis response to long term healing, EWP provides counseling, victim advocacy, legal support, safe housing, and the tools survivors need to rebuild their lives and break cycles of abuse.

Power of the Purse is a night filled with fun, fashion, and purpose—featuring unique shopping experiences, exciting auctions, interactive games, and a signature runway show. Prominent men and women from our community take the stage to showcase luxury purses, raising awareness and support while reinforcing a powerful message: domestic violence is not “just a woman’s issue.” Many survivors leave abusive situations with only what they can carry, often just a purse. Making this event both symbolic and deeply meaningful.

Held each October during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Power of the Purse brings our community together around a shared truth: violence against any individual— no matter gender, identity, race, or culture—impacts us all.
