Jan Mauldin is a Birmingham, Alabama native, who as a young adult, demonstrated a drive to support those that are interested in making a positive impact on society. She served honorably in the Army for almost 6 years as a Logistic Specialist. After her military career, she went on to earn a MA in Human Services Counseling: Crisis Response and Trauma from Liberty University, and a BA in Organizational Management from Ashford University. Worked alongside my mentor, Dr. Charnetta Gadling-Cole, as a graduate assistant/teaching assistant at the University of Alabama in Birmingham through the center of Global Social Service Research, funded by an NIH grant.  She worked on numerous projects such as publishing in the Journal of Sociology, editing projects for an international journal and various capcities, to include working on an USAID initiative to combat the HIV/AIDS pandemic in Africa. Jan Mauldin’s experience include serving as the Human Service Administrator and provider with Just for Me, Inc. and J&J Consultants, a volunteer member of the Birmingham Crisis Center Rape Response team, Intensive In-home Counselor at St. Joseph’s Villa, Community Counselor, Relationship and Marriage Coach, Clinical Coordinator in Virginia, and Executive Director of Just for Me, Inc, whose purpose is to impact society utilizing a holistic approach to change lives and demonstrate positive outcomes for vulnerable populations across spectrums.
