College Internships
College internships are available through the volunteer office at Every Woman's Place/Webster House Youth Services (EWP/WHYS). We are looking for college interns with emphasis in the following areas:
Activities Volunteer
We are looking for volunteers to help with fun activities from arts and crafts to entertainment for our shelter clients to participate. Volunteers would help coordinate these activities.
Volunteers do some amazing things at EWP/WHYS!
A committee of volunteers created Every Woman's Cupboard, a cookbook to honor courageous women in our community. As a result of their efforts, this amazing compilation of recipes and dedications is available for sale at only $15.00 each. Best of all, the proceeds benefit the agency. Thank you to volunteers Judy D. Bacheller, Laura Catalino, Pat Guillen, Amanda Morton and Starr Retzlaff as well as EWP staff members Jean Catalino, Christina Scarpino and Heather Pouch. Legal Advocate Volunteer
The legal advocate volunteer offers support to women throughout the court proceedings. They may help with personal protection orders or accompany clients in the courtroom during court procedures.
Volunteer Crisis Aides
Volunteer crisis aide works on the shelter floor working directly with women and children staying in the shelter for safety.
Foster Grandparents
Foster Grandparents are utilized in our shelter to assist with the care and supervision of children. They play games, rock, cuddle, and give our children lots of love.
