These statistics are staggering, but Every Woman's Place and Webster House Youth Services are here to strengthen families. Our programs range from domestic violence prevention to youth programs geared toward helping youth make positive decisions about their lives.

Cheers and Chocolate is an event pairing sweet and savory culinary delights with fine wines and beers at the state-of-the-art Culinary Institute of Michigan, located in downtown Muskegon, Michigan.
Proceeds will support domestic and sexual violence services as well as services to homeless and runaway youth and youth at risk of becoming homeless at Every Woman’s Place/Webster House Youth Services.

This event is a showcase event for the Culinary Institute of Michigan and has appeal to foodies, wine and beer lovers all over Michigan and has attracted guests throughout the Midwest. The Culinary Institute uses this event as an opportunity for internship relationships with chefs from all over the country. In 2010, chefs from Disney, Carnival Cruise, and prestigious restaurants all over the Midwest attended.
The CIM will accommodate 650 guests and this event has sold out the last three years.
The event date is Saturday, March 3, 2012 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM. The cost for guests is $55 and includes short seminars, wine and beer tasting, chocolate creations, hors d’oeuvres and a complimentary wine glass.
VIP Seminars on Pairing Foods with Drinks will be from 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM. The VIP Seminar is an additional cost of $25
This year, the student chefs will create the entire menu featuring incredible chocolates, desserts and hors d’oeuvres under the direction of Chef Robb White, Dean of Culinary Arts and Hospitality Program and Jamie LaRoux, Department Chair for CIM. Chef instructors and wine/beer experts will host short seminars throughout the evening.
